On 21 September the Schools Recruitment Service will launch the next phase of its website allowing jobseekers to register their interest and receive news and development updates. The service will provide a faster, more efficient and standardised application system for schools to recruit permanent leadership, teaching and support staff.
When the service goes live jobseekers will be able to set up a personalised account. They will also be able to choose to be part of a talent pool, which will enable schools to contact them directly to invite them to apply for a suitable post. The system uses standardised online application forms which will automatically fill in the jobseeker's details from their personalised account to save them time when applying for jobs.
