EQUIPMENT

A fully searchable database containing detailed information about science equipment. Print these off and give them out with the equipment or just browse and get to know your beehive shelves from your spectrophotometers!

THE WORKSHOP

This section contains detailed guides showing how to construct many science models. Also contains info on PPE, tools and parts. Includes hundreds of diagrams and photos with step-by-step instructions.

INFO LIBRARY

If you need data, this section will have what you need. From Rock types to resistors, plant cells to planets, we have hundreds of tables of useful information. Also contains templates, a glossary, a full PAT testing section, diagrams and photos. Don't bother searching through google, re-writing and checking- it's all here, ready to use and in plain English!

COURSES

Our courses database contains many upcoming technician courses run by CLEAPSS, the ASE, Science Learning Centres and other third party providers. Simply click your location on our UK map and upcoming courses in your area will appear. Our database contains more technician courses than any other site.

COMMUNITY

Our community section contains useful contacts, website links, technician tips, union information and a regular editorial as well as extensive archives of our noticeboard and Website-of-the-Week sections.

FORUMS

Our forums allow technicians teachers from all over the country to post questions and answer others, share announcements and notices or just to have a friendly chat. Think of our forums as being one big technician meeting, allowing everyone to share tips and experiences at any time you wish.

Our latest section contains over 1000 files containing labels and signs for you to print out and use in your school. Files are exactly how you need them in several formats and sizes, perfect for labelling bottles, jars or trays.

Our annual school subscription fee is ridiculously low. In fact, it works out at about 5p a day. If that's not value for money then we don't know what is!
